Lexus GS entry-level hybrid

Lexus GS entry-level hybrid
Lexus is working on an ultra-fuel-efficient entry-level Lexus GS to take on small-engined large German sedans like the BMW 520d, Mercedes-Benz E220 CDI, and Audi A6 2.0 TDI. Instead of going diesel though, Lexus is set to introduce a small petrol engine teamed with a hybrid system.

Lexus has already revealed the new Lexus GS 450h hybrid, which comes with a large petrol engine for outright power, backed up by a hybrid system to reduce overall fuel consumption and emissions. An entry-level model will apparently offer even greater efficiency.

Rolls-Royce 102EX: First Drive

Rolls-Royce 102EX
The Rolls-Royce 102EX electric concept car is the answer to the question no Rolls-Royce owner ever asked. Namely: Should I buy a green car? Absurd! Fuel economy? The environment? Recharging? Bah! Those are problems for the poors.
Rolls-Royce 102EX

Which is precisely why Rolls-Royce built this all-electric concept car. This is an era where evil socialist regulators force good, upstanding automakers to worry about the color green — and unbelievably, they're not talking about the color of the bills Rolls owners ask their man-servants to count for them.

Well, all the engines expect for the AMG V8. For the base model, the 184 hp SLK200 they offer a boost up to 210 hp and 310 Nm of torque, enough for a top speed of 242 km/h.

Then we have the 205 hp SLK250 that gets a bump to 244 hp and 360Nm with top speed of 250 km/h. And finally the V6-powered SLK350 which gets 330 hp and 390Nm of torque for a top speed of 269 km/h.

Visually you can count on the new tinted 20-inch wheels and the lowered suspension to add a little drama. They do offer a carbon front spoiler, a bootlid spoiler and a rear diffuser, but they’re kinda obscured, especially with the black exterior!

The "Fallen and Wounded Soldiers" Ford Mustang GT by Webasto is a special muscle car that was the result of a collaboration among some of the world’s foremost Mustang tuners. But more importantly, this Mustang was born to raise awareness and money for The Fallen and Wounded Soldier’s Fund (FWSF), a non-profit organization focused on helping service members with medical costs, transportation, and other financial assistance.

In building this special edition Mustang, Webasto sought the help of some of the best tuners around, and knowing the nature of this build, a lot of companies answered Webasto’s call.
