2012 Scion IQ
Expect a decently equipped base 2012 Scion iQ, along with plenty of tacky accessories available to those who so desire. The base car comes with Pandora radio service, which is currently rolling out a big push to be in new cars.
The smallest Scion, the 2012 Scion iQ is going to have a starting price of $15,995 when it hits US dealers this fall.
The 2012 Scion iQ will be launched in four phases with the West Coast getting it in October, followed by the south in January, then the East Coast and the Midwest. The base Scion iQ gets standard features like Pandora, and 10 airbags to keep you safe, one of which is a new rear-window curtain airbag.
The 2012 iQ is powered by a 90-hp 1.3L four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT. Scion is also going to release an electric-powered version of the iQ sometime in the next year or so.
