We are all aware that BMW is developing a hybrid version of the 5 Series. The BMW ActiveHybrid 5 concept car was first showcased at the Geneva auto show in March. It is believed that the new Hybrid car would be ready by the end of 2011. The car was recently spotted testing in California totally undisguised and complete with Hybrid badges. California being famous for the sheer number of hybrid cars sold, this is the part of the world where the car will be made available when it is launched.
